Job Summary

A software company has a current position open for a Telecommute Senior DevOps Infrastructure Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Working on the design, deployment and improvement of infrastructure services
  • Managing backlog and predictability of project delivery
  • Providing input into long-range platform requirements and operational guidelines

Qualifications Include:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years work experience in a DevOps or similar role
  • Understanding of OO programming and concepts (Java, C++, C#, Python)
  • Fluency in one or more scripting languages such as Python or Ruby
  • In-depth, hands-on experience with Linux, networking, server, and cloud architectures
  • Experience in Chef, Puppet or Ansible; experience with AWS or other PaaS provider
