Job Summary

A technology company is filling a position for a Telecommute Senior Distributed Database Engineer in Arlington.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Helping design and building storage and query evaluation over a large distributed database
  • Developing and implementing algorithms for distributed transactions over very large clusters
  • Working on integration with DCOS frameworks like Mesos

Qualifications Include:

  • 5+ years programming experience, ideally in Java
  • Strong computer science fundamentals with advanced knowledge of data structures
  • Experience building distributed databases and service-oriented architectures
  • Knowledge of Spark, Storm, Flink, DCOS frameworks like Mesos
