Telecommute Senior Educational Engineering Director

Job Summary

A non-profit education organization has a current position open for a Telecommute Senior Educational Engineering Director.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Driving efforts to deliver best-in-class tooling for building, deploying, and validating applications
• Advocating for consistent design processes, methods, core systems, and patterns
• Developing feedback mechanisms with internal and external constituents to drive operational efficiencies

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• 8+ years' experience in technology
• At least 4 years managing a team overseeing large data initiatives
• Experience mentoring and coaching technology teams in best practices and process improvement
• Experience in ensuring teams adhere to development standards and security policies and procedures
• Knowledge of and experience with AWS infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of front-end and backend engineering technologies, frameworks, & best practices
