Job Summary

An educational technology company is in need of a Telecommute Senior Educational Technology Software Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Identifying risks and tradeoffs and providing clear communication about potential impediments
  • Supporting the team through code reviews, and all agile ceremonies
  • Contributing to software development best practices

Qualifications for this position include:

  • 7+ years of Java development experience
  • 3+ years building solutions using Spring frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Security)
  • 2+ years hands on experience in AWS services
  • Experience developing modern frontend technologies such as TypeScript, VueJS, React, Angular
  • Experience building microservice solutions
