Job Summary
A chemical manufacturing company is seeking a Telecommute Senior Electrical Design Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Work with process and controls engineers on electrical and instrumentation designs
- Develop electrical and power systems designs for large scale electrolyzer systems
- Collaborate with R&D and Capital Projects teams to integrate the electrical and power system designs per applicable standards
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Are experienced with system scale-up and electrical design for process plants
- Have experience with specifying and operating electrical equipment
- Have a bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering or a related STEM degree and 6+ years of experience working as an electrical engineer
- Are experienced with NEC, NFPA, IEC, NEMA, ANSI, IEEE and BS standards
- Are excellent with engineering studies and calculations
