Job Summary
An engineering company is filling a position for a Telecommute Senior Electrical Systems Application Development Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Working with sales and platform teams to identify new electrical applications at Tier-1 and OEM customer accounts
- Understanding and articulating the customer value for each application solution
- Working with material engineers to prepare material application data, modeling data, customer presentations and customer trials
Qualifications for this position include:
- Willingness and ability to travel, as necessary
- 8+ years industrial experience with an in-depth knowledge of plastic applications associated with the hybrid and electrical vehicle trends
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office, engineering simulation software packages, etc.) and be degreed in a relevant engineering discipline
- Experience leading customer focused application innovation projects
- Passion about the development of electrified transportation
- Effective in delivering complex technical presentations to large groups of industry professionals or non-technical executives
