Job Summary

A software company is seeking a Telecommute Senior Embedded Software Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Building distributed systems
  • Contributing to and managing open source projects
  • Securing the connected consumer homes

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Solid understanding of the network stack and protocols
  • Deep understanding of Linux OS internals
  • BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent combination of Training & Experience with 8+ years of related work experience
  • Seasoned developer writing secure C/C++ code
  • Excellent understanding of ARP, Ethernet, IPv4, TCP, UDP, DNS, HTTP and HTTPS
  • Strong data structure and algorithm fundamentals
