Job Summary

A software company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Senior User Experience Designer in New York City.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Prototyping, developing and deploying high quality XR experiences, gameplay mechanics, and spatial designs
  • Creating a common language between developers, artists and designers
  • Developing streamlined methods to improve current instructional design storyboards

Qualifications Include:

  • Solid understanding of 3D math, physics for game simulations
  • XR game design, UI/UX and interaction design for immersive environments
  • Experience with Git or Perforce in the context of game development
  • Strong portfolio showing examples of polished XR mechanics and designs
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience building commercial software using Unity
