Job Summary
A provider of health services is in need of a Telecommute Senior Facility Data Analyst.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Assessing and documenting business operations and procedures
- Scheduling and providing the QA reviews for multiple data delivery work streams
- Identifying and supporting continuous improvement and optimization opportunities
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience analyzing data (using any statistical analysis tool)
- 5+ years acute in-patient hospital coding experience
- 2+ years of healthcare claims experience and experience working with medical claims on claims processing systems
- SQL experience, knowledge of ETL processes, experience working with large claims data sets
- CCS, including certification maintenance by obtaining qualifying CEUs
- Knowledge of hospital coding rules, guidelines and policies regarding ICD - 10 - CM / PCS, MS - DRG, and APR - DRG
