Job Summary
A university has an open position for a Telecommute Senior Financial Analyst.
Must be able to:
- Perform day-to-day financial reporting and analysis for assigned functional areas
- Ensure compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations
- Under general supervision, perform financial analyses, forecasting, and budgetary processes
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree with a focus in Finance, Business, or Economics
- 3-5 years' of finance experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in Higher Ed or Financial Services
- Advanced level of proficiency with Excel, Access, and PowerPoint as well as other Microsoft Office programs
- Must exhibit strong analytical thinking, with advanced research and problem-solving skills
- Must have a working knowledge of financial strategies and be able to build complex financial models
- Detail-oriented and is able to perform in a high-pressure environment
