Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate developer with front-end skills to join us.

At Mindojo, we have a small team of engineers (currently 9) who are developing the platform. Our developers enjoy a large amount of autonomy and independence in their day-to-day tasks. As a consequence of that, we need someone who can approach the front end from different angles.


Required Qualifications:
3+ years of professional software development
Expert level in Javascript, HTML, CSS
Experience in building and scaling sophisticated, high-performance, highly-available systems
Excellent English (Verbally and written)
Experience working as part of a team, preferably working in agile methodologies
Due to this position being remote, you must have a comfortable work environment that allows you to stay focused and productive


Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Ember, React, Emblem, Sass
Working knowledge of git
Knowledge of web design and UI design best practices
Active participant of Stackoverflow community
Ability to share examples of Open Source projects


This is a remote position with team members telecommuting from all over the world, but you will also participate in periodic team meetings in which you can get to know your team members better, ask questions, and have a great time together.


Responsibilities:
Build and scale sophisticated, high-performance, highly-available system
Write and maintain clean, modular code
Architect, code, test, and maintain high-quality front-end software that supports expansion of the Mindojo learning platform
Own and manage your own projects and systems
