Job Summary
A biopharmaceutical company is seeking a Telecommute Senior Global Clinical Lead Oncology Medical Director.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Developing clinical development plan from 1st in human clinical trial to proof-of-concept, including assessment of combinations
- Working collaboratively with the functional groups within Oncology Clinical Development
- Ensuring the clinical components of the clinical plans & clinical expertise are provided to project teams, including monitoring of trials
Qualifications for this position include:
- MD/PhD or MD & demonstrated depth & breadth of experience in clinical research in academic, clinical practice or industry setting
- Prior specialized training in Medical Oncology; Board Certification in Oncology is desirable
- Experience in the development of Immuno-therapeutics in Oncology
- Understanding of related disciplines (e.g. biostatistics, regulatory, pre-clinical pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences)
- 8 year’s experience in pharmaceutical industry with a track record in early phase drug development through to phase 2 Proof of Concept
