Job Summary

A health insurance provider is in need of a Telecommute Senior Health Insurance Actuarial Analyst.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Leading regular actuarial analyses to aid in business decisions
• Performing processes and tasks associated with the sale of new policies and renew of existing businesses
• Leading maintenance and improvement efforts for rating tools to support creation of quote and renewal information

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Finance Accounting, or related business field with 2 years of relevant experience or
• Associate degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Finance, Accounting, or related business field with 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience in pricing, reserving, and/or other financial analysis with a customer service focus
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and analytical software
• Ability to manage multiple tasks to ensure timely delivery of financially impactful work and other required analysis
• Ability to file rates in compliance with state and federal regulations
