Job Summary
A managed healthcare and insurance company is seeking a Telecommute Senior Healthcare Economics Analyst.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting and validating provider network contracting and unit cost management
- Conducting financial and provider network pricing modeling, analysis and reporting
- Analyzing financial impact of provider contracts
Position Requirements Include:
- Undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field
- 2+ years of analytical experience in actuarial, financial analysis, health care pricing, health care economics or related discipline
- 2+ years of experience performing financial impact modeling and analysis or data manipulation with evidence of creative, proactive problem solving
- 1+ years of experience using SAS and/or SQL
- Advanced level of proficiency working with MS Excel including creating Macros, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, SUMPRODUCT, and VLOOKUPs
- Ability to perform complex data validation and conceptual analyses
