Job Summary
An insurance company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Senior Healthcare Economics Consultant.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Querying and processing complex medical and behavioral healthcare data using SAS and SQL based tools
- Using claims and membership data to support utilization, network, and affordability analyses
- Designing and validating total cost of care savings models across multiple levels of business
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 4+ years of healthcare experience involving authorization and/or claims data
- Advanced level of proficiency working with SAS based tools
- Intermediate level of proficiency working with MS Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP’s
- Experience quickly learning and efficiently using new software tools
- If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response
