Job Summary
A privately-held health technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Senior HIM Consultant.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Supervising reviews of records for completeness and accuracy
- Supervising the preparation of periodic reports such as morbidity, birth, death, and other required reports
- Maintaining surveillance of incomplete records and prepares reports of delinquent physicians/other practitioners
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Travels to off site facilities
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five years experience in HIM, supervisorial responsibility
- Thorough knowledge of medical/legal regulations related to HIM
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of ICD-10
