Telecommute Senior Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

A global healthcare company has a current position open for a Telecommute Senior Information Security Engineer.

Must be able to:

• Evaluate internal and external requests for application connectivity and the potential security risks involved
• Engage in review and revision (or creation) of data security standards for zone based communication
• Lead design discussions from a security perspective to integrate and assimilate new acquisitions

Required Skills:

• 2 or more years of experience designing and supporting large complex data networks
• 2 or more years of experience designing security zones for customer facing applications
• 2 or more years of experience supporting large scale firewall and networking infrastructure deployments
• 2 or more years of experience with advanced networking protocols and device support
• 1 or more year of experience with Layer 7 application firewall technology
• 2 or more years of experience network and/or security incident response
