Telecommute Senior Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

A managed healthcare and insurance company is filling a position for a Telecommute Senior Information Security Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Evaluating internal and external requests for application connectivity and the potential security risks involved
• Engaging in review and revision (or creation) of data security standards for zone based communication
• Leading design discussions from a security perspective to integrate and assimilate new acquisitions

Qualifications Include:

• 2+ years of experience designing and supporting large complex data networks with zone-based concepts segmented by firewalls
• 2+ years of experience designing security zones for customer facing applications
• 2+ years of experience supporting large scale firewall deployments
• 2+ years of experience with advanced networking protocols and device support
• Demonstrated knowledge of application protocols and associated risks
