Job Summary

A global insurance company is seeking a Telecommute Senior Insurance Principal Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Translating customer requirements into technical applications and support the implementation of new software
  • Coaching and collaborating with junior software engineers
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance performance, quality, and efficiency

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of software engineering experience
  • Experience with CI/CD patterns in tools like Atlassian Bamboo / Azure DevOps / Jenkins / TFS
  • Experience with common code management software such git or svn
  • Experience working with either AWS or Azure
  • Experience with API development or API development patterns
