Job Summary
An insurance company is filling a position for a Telecommute Senior Insurance Underwriter.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Mentoring less experienced team members
- Serving as a thought partner to your teammates to analyze individual or group claims data on others’ cases
- Partnering with the underwriting team and leadership to develop, refine and utilize underwriting guidelines
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 8+ years of underwriting experience small group medical, including some direct experience with level funded plans
- Solid analytics experience
- Excellent communicator
- Excellent verbal and written communicator
- Strong team player with a track record of working cross-functionally
