Telecommute Senior Insurance Underwriter

Job Summary

An insurance company is filling a position for a Telecommute Senior Insurance Underwriter.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Mentoring less experienced team members
• Serving as a thought partner to your teammates to analyze individual or group claims data on others’ cases
• Partnering with the underwriting team and leadership to develop, refine and utilize underwriting guidelines

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• 8+ years of underwriting experience small group medical, including some direct experience with level funded plans
• Solid analytics experience
• Excellent communicator
• Excellent verbal and written communicator
• Strong team player with a track record of working cross-functionally
