Job Summary
An electronics company has a current position open for a Telecommute Senior IoT Field Application Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Provide field applications support to key customers for IoT products and solutions
- Work in conjunction with the local technical marketing and sales team
- Act as technical advisor for the sales force in the execution of Richardson RFPD IoT corporate strategy
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Traveling required 20-25% of the time
- BSEE or related engineering degree and 5+ years of engineering experience
- Experience working with various IoT Service and Application layers, IoT protocols, embedded Linux systems
- Demonstrated working knowledge of wireless technologies such as Cellular
- Familiarity with hardware simulation, layout, antenna design and the cellular equipment certification process
- All other requirements necessary for this position
