Job Summary
An insurance company has an open position for a Telecommute Senior IT Engineer in Hartford.
Must be able to:
- Consult with internal business customers and translate customer business needs
- Conduct discovery meetings with internal customers to address customer technical needs
- Team with Architects to support and develop advanced solutions, strategy and technology roadmaps
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Basic scripting and development skills and PowerShell
- Configuration and management of Windows Server or other Microsoft Server applications
- 3+ years direct technical experience designing or supporting Microsoft Server Applications
- Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills are required for effective communication
- A proactive "can-do" attitude with strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
