Job Summary
An engineering service provider needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Senior Java Stack Developer in Phoenix.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Developing and testing new features, incremental changes, and bug fixes
- Defining and implementing automated tests for new development
- Participating in the code review process
Qualifications for this position include:
- Ability to travel to Santa Barbara HQ 5% or as needed per year (expenses will be reimbursed)
- BSCS/MSCS or equivalent 4-year degree in MIS, Software Engineering or related disciplines
- 5 – 8+ years of blended production-level OOP core Java/J2EE Frameworks
- 2+ years of public cloud computing expertise with: Amazon Web Services AWS/EC2, S3, RDS, and/or DynamoDB
- 3+ years’ experience developing web services using: RESTful APIs
- Automation scripting experience: JavaScript, Bash/shell, PHP, Perl, Ruby, PowerShell etc
