Job Summary

A staffing company is filling a position for a Telecommute Senior Linux Engineer in Silver Spring.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Serving as the senior member of the server engineering team
• Building and maintain Red Hat Linux systems
• Ensuring reliable backups are completed

Position Requirements Include:

• Ability to work onsite 3 days, telecommute 2 days per week
• AWS and Linux experience
• Experience with configuration management tools like Puppet and Ansible
• Tomcat, Apache Web Server experience
• Python and Bash experience
