Job Summary

An e-commerce community and online marketplace is seeking a Telecommute Senior Marketplace Seller Commerce Software Engineer II.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Building solutions to help our sellers through commerce channel expansion and improvement
  • Taking the lead on directing and implementing solutions to significantly sophisticated, un scoped problems
  • Collaborating with product managers, product designers, analysts, researchers, and other full-stack engineers

Required Skills:

  • Experience building web applications, using both back-end technologies (we use PHP, MySQL) and front-end (JavaScript, React, CSS)
  • Product development experience with the ability to write understandable, testable code with an eye toward maintainability
  • Experience providing estimates or product ideas that will influence the team’s roadmap
  • Comfort collaborating closely with a distributed team
  • Strong debugging skills, allowing you to determine the source of issues in unfamiliar code or systems
  • Ability to operate within a large codebase and learn how to create simplicity from sophisticated systems
