Job Summary

A renewable energy technology company is seeking a Telecommute Senior Mechanical Design Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Conduct turbomachinery architecture trade studies
  • Complete mechanical design and packaging of integrated turbomachinery packages
  • Support the documentation and fabrication of custom equipment

Qualifications Include:

  • MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5 years work experience
  • Experience with hands-on equipment design, fabrication, installation, and performance testing
  • Experience analyzing and designing integrated turbomachinery packages
  • Familiarity with FMEA, hazard analysis in the context of industrial process safety
