Job Summary
A provider of commercial electronic security and engineered fastening systems is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Senior Mechanical Development Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Deliver best in class performing new power tool products
- Utilize the Product Development Milestone processes to develop and deliver technical design
- Own technical design responsibility for assigned projects utilizing 2D and 3D design capabilities
Position Requirements Include:
- Able to perform some travel (Domestic & International)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 3 years of Mechanical Design experience
- Experience in use of 2D and 3D design software
- Awareness of design for manufacturing, metrology methods, and quality control practices
- Firm understanding of GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, and 2D drawing best practice
