Job Summary
An insurance company is filling a position for a Telecommute Senior Medical Economics Informatics Specialist.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Assisting in the local market planning processes
- Providing data governance services including validation, reconciliation and transmission to third-party vendors
- Conducting variance analysis of employer groups and provider organizations
Position Requirements Include:
- Travel 25% of the Time
- Proven skills in understanding individual market dynamics to set strategies/tactics to achieve both cost and quality objectives
- High proficiency with PC and software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
- Advanced Excel experience
- Experience using excel for forecasting and variance analysis
- Familiar with financial concepts such as ROI and cost benefit analysis
- SQL or SAS coding experience
