Job Summary

A large technology firm has an open position for a Telecommute Senior Middleware Solutions Architect in Remote.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Provide pre-sales technical marketing support for the development and implementation of customer applications
  • Identify appropriate technologies to solve client problems
  • Build relationships with clients' technical staff to identify new opportunities

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • 5+ years of Java programming experience
  • 5+ years of experience in JEE programming with application servers, e.g. JBoss, Oracle WebLogic, and IBM WebSphere
  • 5+ years of pre-sales and sales engineering experience
  • Technical translation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Knowledge of application architecture, e.g. MVC or model-2, patterns, JDBC, CVS, and build management
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
