Telecommute Senior National Accountant in New York City

Job Summary

A healthcare non-profit organization has an open position for a Telecommute Senior National Accountant in New York City.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Preparing monthly account analyses for balance sheet and expense accounts
• Reconciling bank accounts accurately and in a timely manner with attention to unusual items that remain outstanding
• Preparing journal entries, collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information for monthly and year-end closing

Required Skills:

• Travel is required during weeknights and weekends
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2-6 years of general accounting experience, not-for-profit experience preferred
• Strong analytical skills a must
• Must be able to work independently, in groups and willingness to be assigned to help team members
• All other requirements necessary for this position
