Job Summary
A computer software company specializing in call center solutions is filling a position for a Telecommute Senior Network Consultant.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Assisting customers by providing technical expertise on complex infrastructure issues they may have with company Cloud products
- Assisting with investigating customer networks, firewalls, MPLS, VPN, and other equipment or implementations of company's Cloud offering
- Joining meetings with customer engineering resources and/or their third-party vendors to troubleshoot design or break/fix issues in real time
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 5+ years working with Enterprise IP Networks supporting VOIP solutions over IP Networks
- Proven excellent problem solving, debugging/troubleshooting skills
- Demonstrated understanding of hosted PBX, premises IP telephony platforms/software, and Cloud solutions
- Proven understanding of SIP, WebRTC, VoIP, PCap analysis, troubleshooting call quality, media gateways, and SBC devices
- Demonstrated strong understanding of VOIP related protocols such as SIP, RTP, different codecs etc. as well as WebRTC
- Proven knowledge of IP networks Including Switching, Routing, QoS, TCP/IP Fundamentals and troubleshooting voice and IP networks across wide area networks
