Job Summary

An IT company is seeking a Telecommute Senior Network Developer Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Using existing procedures and tools to develop and safely execute network change
  • Collaborating with program/project managers to develop milestones and deliverables
  • Participating in Network lifecycle management through network build and/or upgrade projects

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Experience with networking protocols
  • At least 5 years of related experience
  • Experience working in a large ISP or cloud provider environment
  • Exposure to commodity Ethernet hardware, protocol experience with BGP/OSPF/IS-IS, TCP, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, DHCP, MPLS
  • Experience with Internet peering and inter-domain networking
  • Experience with scripting or automation and datacenter design
