Job Summary

A staffing firm is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Senior Network Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Providing technical services with no supervision
  • Serving as technical point of contact on customer engagements, and internal projects
  • Educating the customer on solution as appropriate throughout the life of the project or service life

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Hands-on experience in a large enterprise or data center environments
  • Working knowledge in scripting coding skill set: Python, Bash, Perl, Ruby, TLC
  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experiences
  • Experience in planning, deployment, and operational support of advanced technologies and applications
  • WAN - MPLS, MPLS Layer 2/3 VPN's, Frame-Relay, GRE/IPSEC VPN, VPN, SIP/PSTN services
  • VOIP - Cisco voice gateway functionality, SRST
