Job Summary

A cybersecurity company is filling a position for a Telecommute Senior Network Engineer in Houston.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
  • Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, ISP connections
  • Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • 4 -8 years of experience in network infrastructure support
  • Strong knowledge in TCP/IP internetworking, Routing, Switching, networking protocols, and Routing protocols
  • Expertise on latest Cisco hardware and operating systems (Catalyst, Nexus, IOS/IOS-XE/IOS-XR, NX-OS, and ACI)
  • High Availability protocols and Load Balancing technologies SLB/GSLB, SSL
  • Expertise in network security
  • Large-scale network infrastructure support skills
