Job Summary

A social media company has an open position for a Telecommute Senior Non Ad Revenue Android Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Working with engineering teams across the company on a rapid iteration cycle of launching and learning
  • Helping to invest and experiment with commerce products on the company platform
  • Being a core/founding member of a team that builds custom features and solutions

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Strong software engineering practices (e.g. coding, unit testing, code reviews, design documentation)
  • 4+ years experience developing Android applications (Java or Kotlin)
  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or similar technical field, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience rapidly prototyping ideas and working collaboratively with Product, Design, User Research, and other cross-functional stakeholders
  • Previous experience building products from scratch and building subscription/membership/commerce products
