Job Summary
A cyber security solutions company has an open position for a Telecommute Senior NoSQL Postgres Database Devops Engineer in San Jose.
Must be able to:
- Automate every aspect of datastore management that can be automated
- Plan and execute system upgrades with little to no downtime
- Define and meet service level objectives for services in your care
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 5+ years experience managing production databases
- The ability to orchestrate and automate complex administrative tasks
- Strong data modeling and data structure design skills
- Experience administering databases running in the cloud
- Superior written communication skills
- Knowledge of ElasticSearch, Cassandra, Kafka, or PostgreSQL
