Job Summary

An insurance company is seeking a Telecommute Senior Pharmacist Manager.

Must be able to:

  • Partner with business unit teams to support planning and develop pharmacy strategies that align with business unit growth and profitability objectives
  • Lead development and maintenance of integrated pharmacy value story to support membership growth and retention
  • Active participation in client renewals, brokers meetings and finalist presentation as needed to promote pharmacy value proposition

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Must be able to travel as needed
  • PharmD degree with at least 5 or more years of pharmacy benefit management experience in a PBM or health plan setting preferred
  • Currently active unrestricted California Registered Pharmacist (RPh) license required
  • Prior experience in presenting pharmacy program value and observations to clients, brokers, consultants preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret pharmacy utilization and financial trend information and provide consultations to clients and consultants
  • Prior experience in pharmacy benefit client contracting with understanding of contracting tactics and market place requirements preferred
