Job Summary

A insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Senior Pharmacy Technician.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Processing member prescriptions or prior authorizations through various computer systems
  • Navigating across multiple computer systems
  • Receiving incoming calls from members or providers

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • 1 years of experience providing customer service and working with healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work 8:00 am - 5:00 pm or 8:30 am - 5:30 pm EST Monday through Friday
  • Current state Pharmacy Technician license or National Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • Demonstrated ability in using computer and Windows PC applications
  • Basic experience in using Microsoft Office to complete work assignments
