Job Summary
A health technology company is filling a position for a Telecommute Senior Plastics and Resins Commodity Manager.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Acting as subject matter expert on market drivers, manufacturing techniques and supplier base
- Conducting commodity specific analysis to identify cost, material selection and manufacturing techniques
- Monitoring critical KPI’s of suppliers and provide leadership and support
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to do 25% travel
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering
- Further specialization in Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Development
- A minimum of 5 years commodity management experience
- Experience driving innovative supplier relationship management
- Experience and affinity with an Healthcare environment
