Job Summary
A technology services provider has an open position for a Telecommute Senior Principal Security Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Conducting exploratory data analysis utilizing internal data as well as external datasets collected by our intelligence team
- Researching, developing, and maintaining expert system based and behavioral based detection algorithms
- Researching, developing, and championing capabilities to improve incident investigation processes and function
Skills and Requirements Include:
- BS in Data Science or Computer Science (or similar field)
- 9+ years’ experience with Data Science
- Experience interacting and leveraging large data stores as part of a data engineering process
- Experience working with data processing pipelines
- Ability to leverage scripting or programming languages in an applied manner to solve technical problems and prototype solutions
