A software company has a current position open for a Telecommute Senior Python Engineer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Designing, implementing, using, and maintaining elegant, scalable, and secure services with flexible APIs
- Writing robust, performant, and secure features for customer-facing web applications
- Architecting best-practice data stores using various data technologies
Position Requirements Include:
- A Computer Science or related degree
- 7+ years of experience
- Experience writing and maintaining scalable, high performance distributed services written in Python
- Ability to create, debug, and deploy software in a Linux environment
- Strong experience working with one or more modern web application frameworks such as Node.js, React, Angular, and D3
- Ability and willingness to deliver fully-tested, production-ready code in Python (familiarity with Django, Sqlalchemy, and Flask a plus)
