Job Summary

A company that is the conglomerate of two historically significant magazines is filling a position for a Telecommute Senior Python Software Developer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Build dynamic, data-driven products
  • Experiment with interesting technology and see your work enter production regularly
  • Work with backend technologies for web site development

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Experience with Server-side technologies, such as Python, Java, or NodeJS
  • Experience with Databases, such as PostgreSQL
  • Experience with Data ingestion/transformation
  • Experience with Unix-based operating systems, such as Linux or Mac OS X, along with the shells and command-line tools available in those environments
  • Experience with Version control, such as Git
