Job Summary
A non-profit organization has an open position for a Telecommute Senior Quality Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Owning test development and execution while balancing engineering priorities with user needs
- Using creativity and deep field knowledge to find, document, and track bugs
- Building new test automation where it is lacking
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Travel a few times a year to headquarters
- 7+ years of relevant experience, including software product development, practical experience in automation tools (e.g. Selenium)
- Strong breadth and depth of technologies pertaining to the role (ex. JavaScript/React for Frontend, Python for Backend/Data, Swift for iOS, Java for Android)
- Experience developing code and working in a UNIX/Linux environment and using virtual machines or containers
- Familiar with software development tools, Eclipse, Intellij, GIT source control
- Can integrate testing into an automated CI/CD pipeline e.g. Jenkins
- Strong understanding of all software testing methodologies, architectures and tools
- Comfortable to develop tests in any language consistent with engineering team
