Job Summary
A hosting company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Senior Quality Engineer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborating across teams to build a comprehensive test strategy and automation frameworks
- Attending project meetings and reporting on test automation development progress, blockers, bugs, and risks
- Providing technical leadership and mentoring for more junior Quality Engineers
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in automating and testing consumer-facing web applications in a CI/CD environment
- Experience in building, maintaining, and improving test frameworks
- Ability to demonstrate when to apply manual vs automation and how to yield positive engineering engagement
- Familiar with Git and/or GitHub
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
