Job Summary

A provider of specialty medical devices has an open position for a Telecommute Senior Research Scientist.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Assessing and analyzing competitive devices and technologies for critical technical and market advantages
• Providing training, technical support and interface with clinical collaborators
• Investigating, designing and performing research protocols related to developing products

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Travel: 10-20%
• 10 or more years of experience in microbiology lab setting or equivalent
• Ph.D. Degree in Microbiology, molecular biology or other equivalent with strong laboratory skills
• Clinical experience in relevant areas
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Statistical knowledge (ex: Minitab, Primer-E, DOE, Sample comparison, etc.)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
