A clinical research organization is in need of a Telecommute Senior Ruby Architect.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Research and manage the implementation of new tools and technologies
  • Maintain big-picture understanding of systems engineering services
  • Design scalable software and systems architecture to support customer growth

Qualifications Include:

  • 8+ years of experience as a software engineer/developer
  • Ruby on Rails, Angular.JS, HTML5, CSS3. Javascript, jQuery, and SQL
  • Solid working knowledge of the Ruby language and the Rails framework
  • Understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns and how they apply to Ruby
  • Solid understanding of SQL and data modeling for scalability and performance
