Job Summary
A consulting firm is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Senior Ruby on Rails Developer in San Francisco.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Customizing an existing medical web-based application
- Acting as mid/senior full-stack Ruby on Rails developer
- Writing, testing and committing high-quality, maintainable code independently
Position Requirements Include:
- Remote with one week in either San Francisco, CA or Raleigh, NC
- Strong experience with Agile, BDD and source control (preferably git – branching, merging, committing, pushing, etc.)
- Strong testing experience is critical
- The application is heavily data driven (MySQL), so strong ActveRecord and a good grasp of data modeling and SQL is a must
- Clinical or medical industry background is not required, but is helpful
