A legal cannabis marketplace has an open position for a Telecommute Senior Ruby On Rails Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Driving technical excellence and quality in our many Ruby on Rails services
  • Building, designing, and architecting new services to power the needs of our business
  • Maintaining, and enhancing existing Rails APIs, focused on performance and stability

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • 5+ years shipping and supporting high-scale, high-performance web applications in a cloud environment
  • At least 3 years of professional experience programming in Ruby
  • Have a practical understanding of SOLID principles
  • Experience with the latest web technologies, tools and practices
  • Expertise in HTTP, web application architecture, scalability, performance optimization, etc
  • Experience with Agile squads and processes
