Job Summary
A nonprofit organization is in need of a Telecommute Senior Scientific Illustrator.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Create scientific visualizations, illustrations, and information graphics
- Participate in the planning and creation of visual assets for interactive graphics
- Create animations for video and social media
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 5-7 years of professional experience in Scientific Illustration
- Ability to visualize complex ideas in a clear, accurate, and intelligent manner
- Ability to work closely with editors, writers, scientists, and designers
- Experience with molecular modeling, editing and rendering
- Detail-oriented, organized, and a good communicator
- Ability to handle several projects simultaneously, including long-term and daily assignments
