Telecommute Senior Scientific Illustrator

Job Summary

A nonprofit organization is in need of a Telecommute Senior Scientific Illustrator.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Create scientific visualizations, illustrations, and information graphics
• Participate in the planning and creation of visual assets for interactive graphics
• Create animations for video and social media

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• 5-7 years of professional experience in Scientific Illustration
• Ability to visualize complex ideas in a clear, accurate, and intelligent manner
• Ability to work closely with editors, writers, scientists, and designers
• Experience with molecular modeling, editing and rendering
• Detail-oriented, organized, and a good communicator
• Ability to handle several projects simultaneously, including long-term and daily assignments
