Job Summary
An education company is filling a position for a Telecommute Senior Security Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Identifying security issues and risks via threat modeling, design and code reviews, and security testing
- Collaborating with engineers to build scalable frameworks, APIs and processes to keep our web applications secure
- Researching, evaluating, designing, and implementing security tools, monitors, and processes
Position Requirements Include:
- 5+ years of experience in securing large-scale consumer web applications or APIs
- In-depth knowledge of authentication/authorization systems (i.e. kerberos, OAuth, LDAP), and TLS/SSL
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related degree or equivalent practical experience
